Not sure about there genders I got some new pictures will get better quality one tomorrow. There's five chickens the two buffs, two whites, and a black.

1 and 2 look like cockerels, 3 (second white) is iffy, 4 and 5 look like pullets.

10 week old orpingtons

1 is a definite boy, 2 and 3 are ladies.

Ok how come the one white your saying cockerel and the other your not?


I responded to this on the Silkie thread as well:

The second white has a much smaller comb and wattle but also what could be streamers; so it could be an unusually feathering female or a feminine boy. It's too close to make a definitive guess in any case, and when sexing Silkies an educated guess is the best you can hope for.
 
I have 3/8 that I suspect may be roosters. Posted elsewhere and got criticism on what breed I described them as. Not really concerned about breed. Used breed to distinguish between birds.
