Only one rooster in the flock.

Not crested, not cream, and only one copy of the barring gene. Not a Legbar. You got a look-alike mixed breed. And the mother must have been an Easter Egger, not RIR.

#1 is a pullet. Need a better pic of #2 without shadows.

What makes you think boy? I have always had my suspicions of the Silkie cross ( I even call it he!!), but was sure the other was a pullet!

The red one has a darker shade of red through the shoulder/wing. It's usually a male trait. The Silkie mis has gold leakage, specific to males.

Is this a better photo of Gordo? Maybe a mix ? His feathering reminds me of a light Brahmas coloring.

I know this is off topic but
And I am just sick about the abuse he took from the leghorns. Some of his feathers I trimmed do to the bloody mess ( I admit I was afraid to wash him )I need advice on what breeds work together if someone could direct me to a forum or website I'd apperciate it.

After a internet search I'm beginning to believe my precious little chick is a red broiler. I will post another photo in daylight hoping you more knowledgeable folks will prove me wrong. If it is true really not happy.... I paid for a buff orphinton pullet and if I'm right I have a Red broiler rooster.... Well fingers crossed I'm wrong
Going to research red broiler in cases.

These are some of my mix breed chicks about 10 weeks from what i can figure. Any thoughts on genders? Apologies for the photos they aren't a fan of photos
