I think that is a cockerel and more sure now that you added pics of the barred pullet. Penciled looks very pullety, too.

Thank you. "He" is everyones favorite because he is the sweetest. I saw the rooster from his breeding and he was stunning. I'm so bummed though because I kinda mentioned to my neighbors I wouldnt keep roosters. I'm allowed to keep roosters here but I don't want to annoy my neighbors. Even though my town is still an agricultural town, I live in a kinda hoity toity neighborhood

I moved here when the kids were little so they could have alot of kids to play with and ride their bikes and explore the woods etc. Now that they're more grown up I'm ready for more acreage and privacy. But thank you for liking him. I think he's pretty too. He does have a distinct white spot on his head and that is why I picked him initially. I thought he was a pullet by the spot.

Legbar is a pullet but I think you knew that.

yes! LOL! I just put her in for reference sake. She acts like a cockerel though and she has a pretty good comb going she's a bold and somewhat flighty thing and a very good forager. She makes a huge mess always kicking and scratching the shavings and crumbles everywhere. I think we are going to call her Kiki because she kicks so much!

Oops, just seeing this but I already reposted all my pictures:rolleyes:   Is my brahma too young too at almost 5 weeks?  I'll try again when they grow a little more.  Patience is not my strong suit:oops:

Brahmas are super slow and there isn't a pattern tell on the light version. You'll have to wait for the comb or male feathers.
