Update on the mystery chick I posted about 2 weeks ago! It is starting to get black markings on its beak and salmon coloring under its wings and chest. Still too young to tell or can you give a couple of guesses?

That chick will be solid red as an adult, so red in the chest right now means nothing. With this chick, a darker shade of red through the wing/shoulder area will be a key identifier of gender.
