Here are the rest of my chicks. I know I have one barred rock cockerel and on barred rock pullet but just want to make sure I don't have any late blooming cockerels.

Chick 6 which is my cream legbar pullet. I guess I didn't get a picture of my buff Cochin who is probably too young anyway and my silver penciled rock who I'm
Pretty sure is a pullet. It was really cold out so I kind of rushed the pictures. Thanks for taking the time to confirm my chicks gender.

For once I actually want him to be a boy just extremely shocked, it literally changed so fast. The waddles are extremely large and red and Remi nor his other 2 sisters have any hint of pink yet. Thank you for replying

4wk. I thought boy b/c comb & wattles were pink & kind of large


5wk - still unsure, but those wattles were very red



6wk - my opinion of its gender changed daily



about 7 weeks


Decided to allow Jewel to explore its feminine side


8weeks Here's a pic after Jewel played in the rain


At this point her little 5 wk old brothers have more comb/wattles than Jewel does at 9 wks.
I think I can finally say, "It's a girl!"

Ok, 6 weeks old today and I'm feeling better about this being a pullet. It's a SL Cochin bantam and I need opinions. All photos are the same chick.

I'm new to chickens. I'm a teacher and my special education class is socializing the chicks for a friend who is building her backyard coop now. I got 4 different breeds at a Feldmans. We think this silver laced Wyandotte is maybe a cockerel. Not 100% on age. I bought them April 19. Included baby picture to help with age.

he just belted out a sad excuse of a crow! Poor guy sounded like he has laryngitis! Lol well he's going to a good home! Thanks to everyone for all their help!
