1, 3, 4, 5 are all definitely male. 2, 6, 7 and 8 might be female, but 6 and 7 are suspicious. Might want to post pictures again in a few weeks to confirm. :)




FIVE WEEKS LATER - UPDATE: You all called it correctly. With the worst luck ever, only #2 is female. Everyone else was crowing. We found good homes for all but two of the very spoiled cockerels. Now at 12 weeks the two we kept, along with the pullet, are still very sweet.

Could anyone help me with sexing these chicks? They are 10-11 weeks and we are pretty sure we have at least one cockerel(neighbors have heard attempted crowing a couple times in the early morning). There are 6 chicks total, 2 Americana(brown), 2 buff orphingtons(yellow), 1 black austrolorp, 1 rhode island red.

Australorp is a cockerel.
