I have a few 8 week old Easter eggers that I need to give away soon. I am still unsure about a few of them and any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a pullet but you should always include age.

Just over five week old cross breed bantam

The one in the large pic is obvious male. Too young to be sure others are pullets.

So far they look like pullets. The sussex is very pretty! It's hard sometimes to sex a chick without others to use for comparison. If you saw combs like that when the chicks were 3 wks, I'd be concerned that they were cockerels. And at 6 1/2 wks, if the combs were red rather than pale peachy pink, I would also think they were cockerels. But the size and color of the combs are within expectation for a pullet.

Unfortunately we only have one of each breed in our very small backyard. I'll look back through pictures and see if I can figure out when the combs first appeared. My Wyandotte and EE have virtually no comb even at this point but being different breeds and new to chickens I hag no idea what to expect!

At 4 wks I would truly be guessing. Can you post an update pic in a week or two? Fingers crossed for pullet!

Yay! Thank you! Yes, I have 2 for sure cockerels going to a new home on Friday. Thank you for the help! I'm so glad I can keep them.

In the 5th pic, second to last barred chick is probably a cockerel. It is getting a lot of white in the barring. Too young to be sure, though.
