Do they normally lay at the same time though? Only one is laying, and that is the smaller one.

Completely normal. Just like with humans, no two will mature at the exact same rate.

Hi! I am new here, and I registered because I have 2 white leghorn chickens, almost full grown. One is laying eggs, while the other one I think is a roo, but I'm not sure. One of them is definitely a hen, hence the eggs, and I'm sure its my smaller one, Blue, but I'm really not sure. They both have spurs, and they look similar. Delta, my probable rooster, keeps making deep sounds that sound kind of like crows, but they are still faint and they are about 5 months old. This is my first time raising chickens, and I love them to death, but I really don't know what gender they are. Please help me.

Here are some pictures. One with big comb is delta and small comb is blue

Leghorns are not my breed, but they female to me. One probably just matured a little faster.

Hi everyone..we have 2 Blue Ameracanus and I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I thought I would see what more experienced eyes may see. Pic 1 is a Roo, not 100% but I feel the dark side in the force with this one...

.. I think in 2nd pic our Roo is on right and pullet left. Thank you for your opinions.
