At those ages, both look like males to me.

I don't think females can be colored like that so I'm thinking cockerel.

Hard to say without knowing the age. If 5 or 6 months, then the comb/wattles are nice & small. However, I could be seeing some saddle feathers. The tail looks sort of rooster-ish to me. If only about 3 mo old, then I'm guessing he's a rooster.

If a crele orp, yes, I think you're right. He does have many "rooster red" splotches.

Trying to find out if this 9 week old is a pullet or roo, can't tell for sure since it just looks odd compared to it's sisters. I got her at 2 days old, she was sold as a black australorp pullet obviously wrong, looks like barred rock to me, but I'm just guessing since I'm new to all this.Any help would be greatly appreciated I plan on keeping either way as she is our favorite bird just can't tell whether her name should be Norma or Norman, help, lol.
