Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Hello! Here I have 4 Golden Comets and 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes and I was wondering the genders. All of them are about 4 1/2 weeks old. None of them seem to be aggressive nor trying to crow, but I was getting curious, as well as I was wondering about the #6 Wyandotte due to his slightly darker comb. But, you are the experts so let me know what you think! And is it just me or do #3 and #5 seem to have greenish legs?!

I can come back when they are a tad older though since they are 4+ weeks I thought I would give it a go! Thank you in advance!

They are too young for me to have an accurate guess unfortunately, silver laced Wyandottes are known to be hard to sex so we probably won't know until they are 7-8 weeks sometimes they take even longer

I'm going to take a guess and say the silver laces are both girls anyway

Golden comets are sex links... pullets are red with white tails. Males are mostly white... so those are all pullets.
Wyandottes are young, but none look like cockerels yet.

I'm hoping I'm just being paranoid.. this is my 8 week old barred rock. Darker coloring, the comb still has a yellowish tinge on the top, but her comb and wattles are bigger and redder than any of my other pullets (all other breeds).

I'll save you some time. Any that start off like a brown chipmunk and then feather in with black chests like this are male. Always.

Any that develop bright pink in the comb before they even finish feathering are male.

The rest, wait until 8 weeks and then post pics if you aren't sure.
