Thanks you guys for making this thread. I have 4 barnyard mixes for you, six weeks old. Been getting mixed guesses. Add yours!

#1 gray
male

#2 white
female

#3 gray penciled
unsure. Leaning toward female

#4 black
unsure If it was hot out or chick was nervous - the chick could be flushed. If it usually looks more pinkish than skin tone color, then male.

Hello :) These are my 4 week old cochins/pekins. I'm sure I won't know for sure for a couple more weeks but would love some gender guesses from more educated people :) I'll just upload 2 images per bird but I have a million more if needed.

They're young, but here are my predictions:
Chick 1 - Lavender/grey (photos 1 and 2)
female so far

Chick 2 - Pale brown (photos 3 and 4)
female

Chick 3 - Dark brown (photos 5 and 6)
male

Chick 4 - Cream with black dots (photos 7 and 8)
male

Chick 5 - White (photos 9 and 10)
female

Yes to all of that!! I keep telling my husband those things and yet the other two we already gave away absolutely screamed too while Gus is just chilling in the middle! The two on the top of this new pic are the ones we gave away already...Gus is bottom left. This was taken about 1.5 weeks ago.View attachment 2188809
Gus is certainly not as advanced as its brothers. Perhaps it's just a large female. :fl

Thanks loads! Will be interested to see how they develop over the next couple of weeks :)

3 weeks is usually too young, but pic #1 is already showing some rooster signs. He's a very early bloomer!
