I’ve been on the tumultuous journey of trying to sex my sweet bantams—I can one Cochin that was definitely a boy at 4 weeks but it’s hard to tell on my other Cochin and my bantam Turken. Fairly certain my grey silkie and showgirl are ladies and my paint silkie is a roo (coincidentally named Rue) and am considering keeping him if so, even though we aren’t supposed to have them in San Diego. My bantam Turken is 9 weeks and my Cochin is 11. Thoughts?

She's an Australorp of 6 weeks. She was sexed as a pullet. She isn't aggressive, it's just the tail feathers and the spur buds that worry me.

Were all the pics of the 4 chicks together taken at the same time? Some look younger.

If the Cochin is 11 weeks in this pic, it could be a pullet, but I am not very familiar with the breed. Don't know on the others except the obvious cockerel turken.

She's a pullet. Comb shape and feather pattern all say pullet.
