Well... The first three photos certainly look roo-ish to me-- out of those three, the third looks least roo.
Those wattles look pretty developed. 😕
Unsure on #4 simply because it almost looks like there is some streamers... but... then again... (shrugs)
The most likely pullet looks like #5.
The last is hard to determine.

They are pretty little fluffs. 🤗

I am feeling the same way you are, I really hope all these boys get along with each other, they are all so sweet, I don’t want to have to get rid of any of them 🐔

I also started a thread but want some more opinions. First one is a sea bright bantam and second is a white crest black polish. they both have blue/green shine on there feathers 😬 Thanks!

I have 13 week old "chicks" that finally have names but no known gender! We have some ideas, and my son is sure that at least Mini (white chick) is a roo...we get the feeling that 2 might be roos actually. We dont know what to expect because their mom is a red bantam wyandotte without any significant comb or waddle and their dad is a barnyard mix that looks a lot like a german sperber (see pics of mom and dad also) and is full of waddles and a big comb.

The chicks were just in the mood to pose! Would love to know your opinions!

First is a cockerel, second is too young to tell

Pullets

13 weeks..? Hmm... well...
I would think if any of them were roos, there would be more development by now.

I would guess they were all more pullet ... 🤷‍♀️

Your white one looks like my amberlink pullet who is relatively close in age.

Hello! I decided to start another thread on helping all you back yard chicken farmers determine the sex of your chicken.
I know it can sometimes be super tricky to identify gender in chicks, so that's why we made this thread! No need to start your own thread, just hop on here and share a picture of your chick, making sure it's at least 4 weeks old before asking gender. Me and @Jetblack2004 are almost 100% on genders for chicks 4 weeks+.
So feel free to ask lots of questions regarding gender. We do NOT identify breeds, only gender. However, if anyone out there is good at identifying breeds, please let us know, we would love to have your help!

Thanks!

Hello Ftfarner22,
We are a new chick family, I grew up with chickens, but this is my 1st time on my own. I am not sure but i believe one of my "girls" is an egyptian fayoumis. They are all 4weeks old. So, my first question is....am i correct in me guessing it is an Egyptian? Secondly, can you tell/guess if it is a roo or pullet?

Interesting, thanks! Yes, I also thought that something would really stand out by now other than their sassy attitudes. But then I had read that some roos never develop dominant combs and waddles, so we started wondering if a roo is among us!

I am not familiar with that breed..but it does look remarkably similar! We hatched three eggs and Mini was first to peep but last to hatch and was also the smallest (hence Mini chick) until about 5 or 6 weeks ago when the sizes normalized. Is that the full size of the amberlink? Is it a smaller breed or even a bantam? We notice that the chicks are beginning to get taller than their mom, and if they are all pullets, hopefully the eggs will be slightly bigger than the bantam eggs.
