Not sure what I should do?

My light Brahma has been sitting on eggs for 18 days now. Well, today she hasn't been sitting on them very much. My Colombian Rock X will sit for a few. I am worried. I was considering collecting them tonight and putting them in my homemade incubator until they hatch. Should I take them, or do you think the eggs are okay? I've tried to candle them but between her and the protective rooster I haven't been able to look.

Go out after dark & candle them. The birds will leave you alone & you will able to candle better when its dark anyway.
