We had another pullet that had the same thing but unfortunately it died. So i'm sure it is deadly if left untreated. Here are two pictures, hope you guys can help!!
Well, to me it looks like CORYZA...extremely contagious to the rest of the flock. The recommended antibiotics are sulfadimethoxine, added to the water, you can irrigate the eyes with saline and put Terramycin eye drops or chlorsig human drops in both eyes twice a day.
If in fact it's coryza, there will be an unmistakable foul odor around the head area. If there isn't a foul odor, it possibly could be mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG.) Bloodwork can be done to determine if it's MG or not. You can contact your local extension office and find out how to get your sick bird tested.
