...so kids fell in love with few chickens we saw at a local farm swap. Ended up bringing them home. The guy didn't seem sure about what breed they are. He said the two bigger ones are Araucana. The two smaller ones he said were jungle fowl... He thinks they are about 2 months old. Now, to my untrained eye the all look pretty similar. Decided to read up on jungle fowl, and seems they aren't much for egg layers, not to mention I'm not even sure about eating their eggs... But, guess I'd like to see if I can get some confirmation, or perhaps correction on what breeds these actually could be. Any help is much appreciated!

They all look like jungle fowl to me. I looked on line quick and they more resemble the Fowl than the Aracuana to my eye. They all have the same exact feather pattern from what I can tell.

My I ask why would you not want to eat the eggs of these birds?

A couple of them seem to have fluffy Easter Egger faces. I think what you were told were Araucana were basic Easter Eggers.

As for jungle fowl, go ahead and eat the eggs. Eggs is eggs, honestly. You can eat chicken eggs, duck eggs, quail eggs, pheasant eggs... jungle fowl is basically just a kind of chicken.
