I am quite new to having chickens and I'm not too sure what's going on. I have two chickens-the one I'm worried about we adopted from a battery farm before she would have been killed, so not sure exactly how old but I guess she'd be about two years old. She was laying an egg a day but stopped laying about a month ago. She has definitely been laying some soft eggs (maybe once a week) but they get squashed on the way out. I thought she was molting as I have seen a few feathers around the coop and seems to have some new feathers...but doesn't look anything at all like the photos in the topics about molting. You wouldn't know by looking at her that she's lost any, just some stray feathers on the ground more than usual.

I have seen her lose a lot of what looks like water while walking around the yard as well...probably about 100-200ml at a time. No blood from what I've seen, just clear fluid. She's also doing it overnight in the corner of the nesting box she sleeps in which is soaking the wood shavings that are in the coop. Is this normal? Does it mean something is wrong with her? I have no idea what to do!
