I started my flock of silkies in June with 3 chicks and 2/3,turned out to be boys. I tried again in September with 4 more chicks and 3/4 turned out to be boys... I guess I just have terrible luck. I'm trying to find someone selling pullets/laying hens that are silkies in Ohio for pick up or another state that will ship them. nothing special just pet quality. I really love my silkies but 5 Roos out of 7 is not gonna be any fun for my hens when they start laying. Thanks in advance!
