Please help me identify this fluid.

Hi all, was suspecting that my RIR had water belly as she has the typical signs of it. Her urates have developed a yellow tint. She has a very squishy bottom that slowly enlarged this month, loss of feathers, however laboured breathing indicates it is squishing up against her organs? she has stopped laying this week, and i was confident it was water belly. In suspicion and her lethargy growing, my mum and i decided to attempt a drain. Found a good and correct spot for drainage, but now i’m not too sure. I am now so worried i hit something else, drained liquid from somewhere else! Very panicked and i feel horrible.
This liquid came out of the draining site, instantly stopped draining, no blood was drained or coming out, disinfected and now looking for an answer.
Saw somewhere that cloudy white liquid indicates something else.
Please let me know if this IS an indication for something else or I have completely screwed up on the placement.

I think that if it is yellow, it is coming from the liver
