Not what i was told they are

I ordered several breeds several years ago. I had split it into three shipments thinking they would be easier to fill that way.
After the first shipment it was a constant run around.
I still had one outstanding order after about the third year so I just needed some birds or a refund. Of course they preferred to send birds so I tried for exchequer leghorns.
They couldn't fill that order completely so they asked to make half black leghorns.
I agreed knowing I've had both from them in the past and they weren't good quality in the least.
I received those chicks as "exchequers". The "blacks" were all barred birds. Look like barred rocks.
Then half of the order was random substitutes which I did not agree to.
Idk what they were. I sold them soon after receiving the shipment.

I didn't order erminettes but at first thought that's what they were because they sold that breed and it would of been a fit with some chicks being white and some white with splotches.
They have large combs, white lobes and yellow shanks.
They have a leghorn build and I've seen a few leghorns so that seems to be what they are.
I just couldn't figure the ones with splotches. When I talked with them they gave me the run around again saying there's two types of exchequers. They ones I know and then also these white with a few specks. Which they say are the correct exchequers. They explanation for the pure white was that some of them just don't get the specks until much older.
IDK it has been a mess with them and I'd guess they crossed some whites with maybe blacks to get an exchequer look or something.

I had heard so much good about them and the great things they were doing for all these breeds.
I jumped in with both feet.
Over the last few years I ended up with about ten different breeds/varieties.
I can honestly say overall they've had the poorest quality birds I've gotten from any hatchery.
IMO they're doing nothing to help these breeds if you can't even recognise them as the breed they're supposed to be or if they don't even send a bird that has the right pattern let alone anything else.
