I've got everything cut and the strips have been sewn. Next I have more cutting and sewing in my future.

Glad they are helpful. I didn't invent this method of course, just applied it to this project. I've found doing strip piecing is not only faster, but it is easier for me to hold the larger pieces so I'm a big fan of doing it this way whenever possible : )

I'm really going to miss working on these blocks, every time I do I start to hum and then sing(yuck) an old song from the 50's or early 60's "Cherry pink and appleblossom white". I think I will make 10 more blocks so it is a good full size quilt.

I have good luck with lots of mint tea, fresh mint if you can, raw honey, and apple cider vinegar in water. I never get colds anymore that last more than a day or so.

Yeah another swap almost done!!! I have been so busy, sewing blocks, halloween costumes, cooking for the kids on Wed. nights at the Church, good to be busy means your alive!! oh and almost forgot 15 of my 17 eggs hatched!!!

Hey All! Cutting everything today. I bought creme at the store when i gaot it home it was more white than i thought. I'm getting another fabric for that. Did anyone find a pink that wasn't a floral? I saw a pink and white stripe that was cute but it was very bright for the sage color i got. I'm ordering some fabric online for here. www.fatquartershop.com www.fatquartershop.com sale proice are good. bunh of stuff at 50% off. We're getting cooler temps. It nice to bring out the sweaters and sofa quilts! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
