Well they are a fine looking batch of mutts, plenty of variety

I've got about 3 doz mutt eggs in the bator myself atm, plus 1 which will be a pure CL if it hatches just a pullet egg so small & I can't see into it very well so I'm guessing "Prince" figured out his job since none of the eggs from his pen on 10/12 were growing, but several from the other gals in that pen on 10/15 _are_ growing ; fingers crossed on that one special egg from Victoria

@cathiesue I understand totally. These colors _sound_ really simple but wow were they had to shop for. I'm doing a floral on the pink, but there were a couple cute non-florals that were tempting. I bought extra fabrics to make a larger quilt & those blocks will be taking a little more leeway w/ the color plan. I expect everyone's quilts will end up shockingly different from this swap when all is said & done just because of the trickiness of these colors. I can't wait to see the pictures!!!
I'm finally healthy, & basically caught up (to include having in the past 2 days organised a babyshower for a young woman (19yo) due Oct 31, I had assumed someone closer to her would have done it already, when I emerged from my month long headcold fog & found out not I was pretty upset w/ ppl. She has had a hard situation since her early teen years, but she did come help me for a week on the farm a few yrs ago when my DH had to to out of state to deal w/ his grandma passing, & this young woman is doing the best she can, can't say as much for the "baby daddy" who proposed to her back in 2008 & apparently this week is trying to back out of even being engaged to her!! But nothing is perfect, and this baby will be here in a few days, so gathering a few women together to show her some kindness for a few hrs. really feels like the least I can do. She was already on my baby quilt list, the shower/potluck is just extra).
Now I'm off to go quilt on the blocks for this swap! Got to get them done ASAP !
