November 15th Quilt Swap

Ladies I just have to share with you. I just skyped with fenrosie and majack and fenrosie's DH was there too. They tried the grits!!! They were very brave, I think it will be chalked off to an experience

thank you for playing just cook,cool and give the girls a treat. Least you can now say you have tried grits, it is a textural thing. It was just lovely to see and talk to you ladies we will have to do this again.

Who else skypes? if you don't have the software it's a free download and then all you need is a camera and there is no cost to skype between skypers, we could do a group skype that would be lots of fun.

Katz, we liked the grits, really.! The gravy was really tasty, peppery and the grits went great. Just a shame we didn't have any bacon. Next time we are going to try with cheese.

Thanks for putting up with us talking to you before you had time to wake up properly. It was our lunch time! I am going to download skype to my iPod.

& I have 9 Gals of varr. pickles/relishes canned, approx 7 more in brine to be canned,
I got 14/17 chicks hatched (pics pending ...)
The young woman had her baby (horrible 15 hr drug induced hard labor only to of course result in CSection, but she & baby are ok)
as expected a boy , so will start on that quilt soon, meanwhile I've also cooked her 2 giant reheat meal in one things which I'll take over to her in a week or so after her mom goes back out of state & other visitors dwindle and she is still trying to adjust to motherhood etc.

And, last but not least, I survived another birthday

so not a bad week, and its only Wed...

Great I will keep an eye out for them. lots of pickles you have been busy. great hatch. wow I feel for the young woman, I just don't understand why they do that. I was very lucky first one was just under 6 hours and the next about 3. She will appreciate the meals your very nice to do that for her. Don't forget to post baby pics.
