November 2021 Hatch-A-Long

I set 11 shipped welsh harlequin duck eggs yesterday morning, hopefully hatching Nov 21. I have been on the fence about adding more, but I think when I get home I will add a half dozen more of my own WH eggs to see how they do.

And maybe some of the surplus quail eggs we have right now.

I'm following. Thinking of hatching eggs with a broody next spring.

I just popped in a bunch of chickens eggs, also candled my Muscovy eggs and I have development in them

I added 10 of my own WH duck eggs. This isn't my favorite time of year to be hatching, but since I'm going for it, more or less doesn't make a big difference, right?

Another batch of Bielefelder hatching egg's just was shipped this morning to me, and I have a tracking number on them so I can check the progress. Good thing that I have more than one incubator, huh?

One broody duck and one that started to sit but acts like a teenage girl and whenever the drakes call for her she's off the nest. I'm putting her eggs under the broody tonight when I get home from school. About 20 eggs all up.

My second batch of the shipped Bielefelder hatch egg's just arrived here this morning, so they have been unpacked and are resting. I do have more then one incubator, but I'm wondering if it will hurt to put them in with that first batch. I set the first batch on Tuesday, and this second batch goes in tomorrow (Saturday). That's only 4 day's difference.
