Just coming in on this thread i have 10 Buckeye xbufforphingtons Buckeye x new Hampshire reds and Buckeye x rirs..i am on day 19 impatient sever..an my humidity won't come up in my bator my first hatch with this flock..

Picked up my beautiful eggs and my 3rd thermometer/hygrometer...lol.

Paranoid....yeah you could say that. Also cut 4 vent holes, 2 in the sides and 2 in the top and kept the plugs. Running the bator a while longer to make sure it's ready, then IN they go!! YAHOO!! Hatch #2...here we GO!!! Also a question....there are 2 very white eggs. I never get white eggs. Anyone know what kind they could be? I listed the breeds before but hate to do it again but oh well...here they are... Silver Laced Wyandotte, Easter Egger, RIR, Buff Orpington, Old English Black Orpinton, Old Englsh blue orpinton, barnvelder, New Hampshire Reds, Barred Rock, Austrolorpe, Golden Comet, Welsummer, and White Leg Horn.

I believe the white eggs are the white leghorns- everything else lays brown/colored eggs It is a sad day for me...dh does not and has not liked my chicken hobby since day 1. To negate the constant arguments I have put up all poultry and housing/ equipment for sale. I didn't list the incubator yet because of the eggs in it but any chicks that hatch will then go for sale and possibly the incubator too:-( There will be another day in another time perhaps. Well...

I'm so impatient. I keep going into my bedroom to listen to the incubator for peeping, though they aren't supposed to hatch for another day or so...

Thank you!! See...I thought that BUT I also thought I had a leg horn hen...but she lays brown eggs. Hmmmmm... As for your situation...I'm so sorry!! I hope that someday he will come to understand your love for this crazy hobby! I consider myself lucky that my hubby is also slightly crazy about out chickens. Good luck with your sale and I hope you make plenty of your money back! Too bad you're not local to me or I would most likely come and buy it all!! This darn addiction...haha. Again...so sorry.

My hubby cut a piece of glass and placed it in the front side. LOVE it. Thanks for the advice. That's what I will do. I don't have a fan in mine, do you? I was considering picking up a small desk fan to put in there. I'm kicking myself because I saw some on clearance very cheap the other day but thought "Why would I need these??" again....DUH. LOL I'm sure they are sold out now, but I am going to check anyway!

Find and computor guy they have computor fans all time. I bought one for $1. make sure you reduce voltage with a adaptor . can find right number on line
