I just candled the 5 eggs and they had good movement. Im gonna keep them in there..see what happens. Is there anything I should look for to tell if they are stuck??

I've had that happen with my guineas...I would forget about them....they all hatched fine! good luck

Just noticed my turner was unplugged

Its day 9..what are the chances for a successful hatch??

There is a lady in the August thread I think...that does not turn the first several days.
It seems to work for her..............I'll see if I can find her information a little later.
If it were me.I'd hang in with the eggs................

Tomorrow is day 18 should I put my Serema's in lockdown today or wait til tomorrow with the rest of the chicken eggs and humidity should be 65% right thank you

What kind of eggs??? I wish I was closer to you..im thinking about 6 hrs away ..i want some blue egg layers!!!!

I ordered some blue eggs from Papaspoultry in Northern California. He's a BYC'er who recently set up his own breeding business and website. Cream Legbars and blue EEs. He has some other interesting breeds too and the prices seemed reasonable. They shipped well, even though it took an extra day due to a Sunday rest. By Day 5, all four blue eggs had good veins (couldn't see the Marans I ordered). It would probably only take 2 days to Texas, but would involve a flight.

Broody lockdown time! XD Not really a lockdown but the moment of truth! Went out today to collect the eggs my hens lay... Broody was on her nest but eager to go get some food so when I pet her a little she left her nest (regular occurrence, she's back already). On her way out I thought I saw some motion but thought maybe she just bumped an egg... So I waited and watched; sure enough this egg was shaking a little on occasion! HOORAH! Nothing to do now but trust in my broody hen and see what happens...!
