 I bought 2 Marans for the eggs but they are so beatiful and calm, I decided to  buy more eggs to hatch.

We have one Marans, and we named her Skittles because she is so skittish. If I come in the coop when she's in there, she starts flying around making noise. And if we come near her she darts away, running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.
She is a cutie, though.

Pink sand... it seemed like a better idea when we first put the eggs in there.

So so cute anymore babies yet how's thor looking?

Lots of peeping coming from the incubator! Two pipped and some egg movement going on. Unnamed first check (came from egg named Rubber) is now in the brooder. Anytime I come near she tries to hurry over to get to me and chirps until I stick my hand in and hold her. Lovey dovey

No word yet on Thor, so many peeps not sure which ones they are coming from!

I'll post a few more pictures in a min.

She wont let us put her down. If she sees me at all she runs to the side of the glass I am at and chirps madly until I pick her up and then she settles in and sleeps
