Everyone can call your search teams back in. I found her behind a speaker in the familyroom early this morning. Then we had a nap together. Here she is. I am so happy she is ok.

Is she missing a toe on the outside left?

I have one pip this morning and one internal pip. I love my Silkie mix babies, but I do hope there are a couple more of my d'Uccle's eggs in the incubator at least. She may have stopped laying for the winter.

Oh yes, and as well as the one banty egg under Adria, one of Renee's eggs is showing development. The eggs under Gabrielle haven't shown anything yet, but it has only been a few days.

After feeding the outside chickens. I came in to find the largest Marans chick wobbley. He is usually running around the most. He was fine last night. I hope he's going to be ok. The lost one and the wobbley one are usually hangout buddies. I will keep them on my lap for awhile. and hand feed them.

Random fact it is the hen that determines the sex of the baby not the roo

Look what Max built for the little babies so no one wanders off again. I may have helped a little. Max recycled the frame to a small greenhouse and used the bread twisties to attach the chicken wire we had leftover.


And of course the Max picture of the day. We went to the fabric store and Home Depot and everyone remembered Max. They told me how people talk about him all of the time. I think it's neat thaat everyone loves him. My sweet Max.

have you had any babies with a prolapse vent? one of the little araucana's has...I'm cuddling it right now cause it had to have a bath and got upset....I guess when it wakes up if it hasn't corrected it's self I'll need to help it correct....hope it's not gonna be a problem with this little doll!!
