I'm up to 14 little quail this morning. There are at least another 6 or so in this batch that have pipped and starting to zip. I have one that I thought had splayed leg, but now his neck looks crooked too. I will try to post pictures later this morning.

Two pips this morning and this little one last night.

I also tagged all of the babies with zip ties yesterday. Hopefully my mother will remember to buy me some more so I have enough ties to last through their growing.

this is the chick that was the stargazer- she is better.
first pip yesterday

12 hrs later not much
this was a diff. chick- pip to hatch 5 hrs.

new hatcher encouraging the egg bound.

this pic is hard to see but towards the top- new chick and new hatch meet.

the middle pic shows a new pip, and upper right first pip 1/2 out of shell and foot.
