My girls eggs are finally fertile and i set 7 of them Saturday and Sunday. All are either Blue cochin or Black Copper Marans father and Black sex link, red sex link, dark cornish, and rhode island red mothers. Im excited to see some chicks from my own flock and already see some development in the couple i candled! Due to hatched the 29th and 30th!

Lock down tonight with six backyard mix mutt eggs. Not sure about two of them. The air cells are huge on them but the others are right on track.

I had 5 RIR mix lockdown at 9pm last night and have 3 silkie eggs going into lockdown at 9am tomorrow. So not tonight but I've kind of sandwiched you

Congrats on your first hatch to be I asked this same thing awhile ago and never got an answer lol I'm definitely going to be hatching in December. I have 33+ eggs on order that should be here anytime in the next few weeks. I love SLW too. Right now I'm sticking to bantams though. I love the tiny size with HUGE personalities! Oh and welcome to the madness

All 20 chicks still running around. The sickly one started eating on his own. He's still losing weight, but maybe tomorrow will be the turning point. The babies survived their first power outage today. Fortunately it was only a couple of hours and there are enough of them to snuggle and keep each other warm.

I do believe I will be. I wasn't planning on it, but hey, when you have a laying, fertile cemani hen you hatch the eggs
