November Hatch-A-Longs 2017

Tell me about it!!! I have to hand turn them too, it's a pain! I have another thermostat coming in the mail today so I can get the second bator up and ruunning and not have to double stack them. They are for a friend. She showed up at my house with 14 DOZEN and was like "can you hatch these for me?" I was like "Uhhhhhh...those won't all fit in my incubator!"
Ooh my gosh! Haha that has to be very time consuming to hand turn then all!

All three babies are here! I feel like that was record hatch time for egg #3! Lol.. just barely pipped 2 hours ago. They all had no issues getting out and are lively and chirping away under mom! Out of the 5 set, mom ate 2 (im pretty sure she knew they were duds) and the other 3 are strong!

This is rather embarrassing, but upon closer examination at tonight’s turning, I think I have three duck eggs, not two. Never mind that I examined them when I took them, again when I placed them in the bator and have turned once already. It seems to have escaped the woman who sold them to me, too. Oh, well, an extra duck egg decreases my chances of one lonely duckling.

All dried off! This was so fun and can't wait to do it again in the spring

Those of us that are hatchaholics will tell you that there's no need to wait until Spring! There's a great (BIG) New Year's Day hatch-along, often with contests and prizes. Plus there are hatch-alongs monthly. Don't limit yourself! The fun can be year-round!
