November Hatch-A-Longs 2017

Pics
Yeah, the woman I got them from told me some of them should be lavender but we will see. I have one who I have no idea where the air sack is, I have pulled some of the shell off since they were not making much noise, now they are all chirpy pants. One is a dark olive and I can't see through it at all but I hear it inside making noise, not sure when I should intervene since it hasn't pipped yet at all.
This my fourth hatch, all inside a year, but I’m still learning a lot. I’ve yet to develop the ability to track air cells like some people do, and I only just helped a chick hatch a couple of weeks ago. It was a really obvious case of the chick having made a big hole and effort to hatch without progress. That’s the only point I’m comfortable with so far.

Day 20, 9 out and stumbling around. 4 more to go. 2 of which are pipped and 2 I can't tell.

17f this morning and light snow flurries.. I have a broody due the 26th who decided 8am is the time she takes her morning constitutional :barnie she is off the eggs about 15 min but it is cold out.. most of my hens wait until the warmest part of the day not the coldest. I live in a hole so the sun hasn't hit the coop yet... She hatched at Easter and this is her first attempt.... we will see if anything hatches.

when is the hatch date?

Have you candled them for movement? I’m sure they’re okay and will still hatch!
well they aren't that far along 6 days... and it has been below freezing here and I do not want to chill them any more than I have to.. sitting in a semi warm nest is better than a cold coop and me w/ a candler LOL if it warms up next week I may try to candle when she is off the nest.
