November Hatch -- Who's going to have late fall babies?

Thanks everyone. I went with the shower method. I was worried about them being chilled when i opened the bator. As of now, the ones that pipped are still chirping. The ones that I got out of the bator are sleeping soundly in their brooder. Speck, my avatar egg, has not yet pipped. I hope something is in there! I was really counting on that egg.
I'll let you know what i find with my 2 pips in the morning.

I opened up the egg of the one that died while pipping. She had 6 toes on each foot, a huge unabsorbed yolk and some weird growth behind her head. She/he just wasn't meant to be.

Thank you so much for all of your help!

We have a chick!!!

The egg that was pipped this morning, suddenly zipped and popped out in about a minute tonight! Looks like a boy to me (white on head) so cross yer fingers that the rest hatch! haha His lungs work well, that's for sure! Maybe he'll talk one of the others into hatching to keep him company?

I put 4 FBCM's into lock down Friday because we were going out of town and not back home until late last night and I was gone all day today again and 2 have hatched another is pipped and due date is tomorrow I'll try and get pictures. I 'm glad they came early as I have turkeys to hatch next

Well only one of my little guys was out as of this morning, so I helped the others, including a 5th that had pipped in the night. They all looked shrinkwrapped, but I was able to manually zip them and remove some of the membrane and they're kicking themselves out now!

my two eggs that pipped last night, hatched last night! I only have one egg to go.... the one in my avatar. I have 13 cute little babies now. thanks for your help, everyone!

I put 40 eggs in for a Thanksgiving day hatch and my wife just told me they were chirping and 3 cracked eggs early this morning. I am at work and the kids at school and we are going to miss it! This is our first ever hatch. Think they will all be done by the time we get home?

hatching from the first pip to the end typically takes 2 days, and with 40 eggs I think you'll have many many births to witness

Are all 40 viable, did you candle before lockdown?
