November Hatch -- Who's going to have late fall babies?

today is day 19 nothing yet hopefully something will start happening in the next 2 days

I checked under part of the broody momma....at least 2 babies are out! She has anger management problems, LOL, so that is all I could tell.

I have 10 babies and one more pip that I can see.

Two cochins of two early pips have hatched.

The dang silkies are worrying me. Three pips, no babies and 2 of the pips are at 24 hours. Shoot.

Question-day 22-two chicks yesterday-one last night-one dead half way out of shell today. How long do you wait until you are safe to assume everyone is out that is going to make it out? second what about this floating test for viability-the sinker/floater thing? Sorry about the lost one but momma is in charge so figure it is the way it has been happening forever or until the first incubator happened. Any suggestions?

The kids are squeaking in under the wire! 8 babies are out, 4 eggs left. 1 is pipped, not sure on the other 3.

Here are pix of 7.....8th was still wet so I left it under the broody.

I got two chicks out of three today from my Sliver Laced bantam cochin. One chick is a gold laced wyandotte and the other a mutt but very cute.
