I have 500 novogen layers and my friend also have 600 of the same age but my birds grow bigger than his is that good or bad for layers we argue about this

It’s only bad if your girls have health issues. As long as they can walk easily, and lay eggs, yours sound better. I suspect you’re giving them higher protein.

SO many factors effect growth of chickens, from the amount of protein, their environment, the amount of exercise the birds get, type of feed, the breed strain of bird, the average temperature they are being kept at, altitude, etc... All conditions would have to be exactly the same to make a proper comparison.
