I just found out that the last egg I had went bad, I feel like its all my fault!

sorry, I was so upset I didnt even explane it right

I had 6 khaki campbell duck eggs in my bator and last night I candled and found out they were all rotten except one! So I kept it and it rotted last night and I didnt realize. And I dont get it! What happend to it?

I've never heard of an egg that was good one day and rotten the next, confusing.

Well, hows this. Maybe it didnt stink. But yesterday at lunch the egg wasnt smelly, today it was VERY!!! smelly!

I know this is going to sound gross, but did you open them to see what happened? You can do that in a sealed plastic bag. Maybe that would help and diagnose what is going on...

I had an brown egg like that. It was under a broody so when I candled it early on with a dark shell you can't see much. Later on the egg got dark like the others but never hatched. It never smelled or anything but when I opened it, it was a dud. no blood or anything. Just a solidified misshapened yolk. Looked like it had been cooked but the white was runny yellow. No smell to it. Very strange
