Next time let him out,,,,,,,if his bite is half his bark, what or who will get the message. Our Husky Akita does the same thing. I wind her up a bit more though before I let her out, and she goes tearing off in whichever direction, and really means business. People, bears, coons, no problems yet!

Reading this post makes me almost cry, I miss my Dobie so! That and the stupid hormones again. I'd get another doberman in a second if my stupid allergies weren't so bad. She had the BEST big girl bark. And this wonderful growl. Which was right before she half beat you to death wagging her tail when I say OK.
One stupid cat does not give the same sense of security!
