I dearly apologize if I was supposed to continue on an old thread, but this is a different question than before.
5 week old chicks look like they are recovering beautifully from coccidia. PHEW! They had me pretty scared!
Now that they are doing better, have they developed the immunity for the coccidia here? Will they get sick if they go out again?
Would it be best to choose a control group or "guinea pig" group, before committing too many of them to days out?
Maybe if people see this - for the record, I had the best luck with vinegar in their water and Corid (amproleum). Sulmet did nothing for them, so the strain was one that the sulfer med couldn't touch. With so many chicks I ended up trying different things with different groups of chicks.
Thank you!
