Now what!!?

Have you wormed recently? If not I would, it would rule worms out at least. By swallowing a lot do you mean they were gaping? That along with the hacking/gagging/coughing type thing might indicate gapeworms.
Ok. They have not been wormed. They are 3 months old.
Mushrooms/toadstools?
Not in their pen

As per our multiple PM's, without a necropsy being conducted it's almost impossible to know for sure what is causing this illness.
Several respiratory diseases have similar symptoms. All the symptoms mentioned can be present in Infectious bronchitis, Aspergillosis, Coryza, Laryngotracheitis, West Nile and mild forms of New Castle.
You have tried medicating with little to no improvement. As suggested, I would see a vet and have lab analysis performed, it will confirm the disease causing this and give you a plan of action and treatment.

Young impeyans should be raised in a screened pen so mosquitoes can't get to them. They are very seceptinle to west nile.

Ok. That’s what my friend said. So now I am making ideas for a “greenhouse chick pen”. I have found some cool ideas and that is what I am going to do for all my young birds. Or at least till I sell them. Are their parents more resistant to West Nile?
