Npip??

I didn’t know which forum to post this in so I guess here works? I want to ship eggs to two seperate friends in other states. Do I really need to get npip to ship two dozen eggs? It’s $6 a bird here to text, I have over a hundred birds. I don’t normally ship but want to send them to my friends. Will it be an issue for two shipments?

You have to comply with the regulations of the states that you are shipping to along with the regulations of the state you are in for you to be able to ship hatching eggs legally.

Most states require NPIP certification and a certificate of health of the flock from the shipper. Some states also require an import permit.
