I just received my nurture 360 incubator. I’m confused with how the egg turner works ?? Ive been trying to test it but it won’t do anything. You press the + and - at the same time, correct? .. nothing happens.... also what is the purpose of having the a and b reservoirs? I put water in both is that fine? Thanks ! P.s. this is my first real incubator

Probably a silly question, but just in case, have you connected the cord from the lid to the base that powers the turner?

The two water trays are so you can have different humidity levels filling them. A is a small tray, and is good for the first 18 days. B is a big tray, and should be used during lockdown to increase humidity to the proper high percentage.

Not a silly question! I could see how that would be missed but yes I have connected them

Hmm, I'll have to dig out my manual and see what it says - I can't really play with mine right now because I've got emu eggs in it and obviously I don't have the turner in, lol.

The center peg that the egg turner fits on has a flat side.... it's not s bad idea to ensure that it is lined up correctly. And yes holding both '+' and '-' buttons at the same time should cause it to do a trial turn..... I use the function when I have bigger eggs so I can watch them turn and make sure there are no hiccups. Also check the day counter..... this unit counts down from 21 so the number you see is how many days left till hatch, the last 3 it shuts the turner off.....

The only other thing I can think of is if the turner is loaded unevenly..... causing problems with its ability to turn?
