I know it reacts with aluminum (from canning experience), but stainless steel would be fine. The galvanized coating on most waterers would probably react with it too. That stuff seems to wear out pretty quickly, so I went to all plastic. I got tired of rusty water!

I read an article in the latest issue of Countryside Magazine on how to make your own real ACV at home (looked for a link, but couldn't find one). Ridiculously simple, so I will have to try it. Sounds like it has more beneficial stuff in it (and they say it's tastier too!)
