NY: BEAUTIFUL 2 Yr Old B/W Paint Filly MUST SELL ASAP $500

Wow! She is gorgeous. My husband and I currently own 5 acres in Upper Marlboro, MD and have a 6 year old grey TB (my horse) and an 8 year old paint pony for our daughter. I have been riding english hunter/jumper for 20 years and would be interested in talking to you about her. You can see pictures of our horses on my website www.celticacresfarm.com and can email me at [email protected] if you are interested in selling her to us. I know you said she will be small, but can you tell me how many hands she is right now and your best guess of how tall she will be?

Thanks,
Bridget

. I hope you find a really great home for her.

OK....I know he is dirty and that's a no-no, but here is my other guy for sale. He is SUPPOSED to be black and white, and was until this year when he spent so much time outside. Easton (Rappin Norfleet Style) is about 15.1-15.2, three years old, green broke for English and/or western pleasure prospect (great for walk, jog, trot and extended trot...canter needs work). QUIET and mature to the point of impressing FOUR professional trainers with his calmness, demeanor and unflappability.

Haven't set a price on him yet, but will talk, talk, talk about it. Have more photos...all of him dirty and all from today so far. LOL. Can you tell I hate to take photos?

wow I am so sorry your ill and the situations are bad
*big hugs*

If I only had a trailer etc etc as Ive got the land and I was raised around horses

they BOTH are just beautiful

I'm just facing reality about the economy, which I haven't wanted to do. If I am not going to ride, they deserve a better life. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I wish that I felt well enough to drive them to you!

Nancy, I hope your asthma improves soon- been there. It is no easy thing to get through. You don't think it's from feathers do you?

We had my nephew's little boy here over Thanksgiving. I had hatched out a couple small turkeys the day or so before. I gave one to him to pat. He developed hives and cried the whole way home. I felt so bad! It turned out he was quite allergic to the feathers. Whodathought??!!

hubby and I have 4 horses total, two more then we need, but with prices so bad and our horses are such nice animals and well bred I decided to have one broke to drive instead of selling him,he is an ok riding horse but I really love my other so this one got left home alot, and I figured if I am going to feed his butt the least you can do is drive me around..so I sent him to an Amish family,VERY nice people and great with horses,by 3 weeks into his training the kids where using him for chores,I am very pleased with how he turned out,I can go right along the highway with semis and campers and boats and he is fine..and it was cheap, only $350 for 4 1/2 weeks..that may be an option for you to look into, tho I dont know if there are any Amish your way...but at least you can do something with them and it makes them more saleable..

It is $1200 a month for training here and you can only get dressage. OR you can pay $150/hour for someone to come to your house to train. It's Long Island.

If I take the horse off the Island, the tolls are incredible and the gas prices horrible. It's a 100 mile round trip just to get to the roads to get off the Island and back home. Or, you can take the ferry and that's probably now up to almost $250 or more with a trailer round trip.

The closest Amish community is probably about 4 hours away, I think. The gelding already has $7000 invested in training. I don't really see either of them as driving horses, but you never know.....I do appreciate the idea. LOL. I'm just frustrated with the industry and the fact that we've ended up here and everyone saw it coming...now add the economy and it's lethal for the horse business.

I bet it's fun to have a place to drive! Here, you'd get sideswiped in about 30 seconds!! They knock each others' cars off the road, I can only imagine what they would do to a cart or carriage!!! Wish I lived someplace more rural, that's for sure!!!
