coopin...here in Long Island, space is at a premium and, truthfully, with my asthma, my situation for getting her ready for a better sale isn't going to improve, I don't think.
Long Island is not an easy place to sell horses...not much land here. Boarding very, very expensive and hay is at least $9/bale and at Agway today, it was $13.50. To have the spring shots and teeth done on three horses last month was $1500 and trimming hooves is $50-75 per horse.
The longer I wait, the more I spend. She has been on Equine.com and Dreamhorse.com with photos for three months and ONE inquiry. It's a horrid market and she is just a beauty!
