I understand chickengirl. I just finished a pretty bad hatch experience and tomorrow I'm cleaning the incubator to set a full incubator Monday (~90 eggs) if I get enough.
I will probably have some Wheaten, Blue Wheaten, or Splash Wheaten Ameraucana chicks available at Chickenstock.
Is anyone allergic to peanuts? I love peanut butter cookies and want to make a giant batch of them for Chicken Stock. I can make to-go packs as well. If allergies are a factor I'll make something else.
I'm bringing 4-wk old pure and mixed Ameraucana for sale. I've set more eggs, so I will let people know if I have day old Easter Eggers as well.
I'm getting turkey poults and maybe homesteaders from myfivegirls, right?
I'm hopefully picking up my Sandhill order from Pyxis.
If I sew anything in between my flock, family, and garden stuff I'll donate it to the raffle.
No peanut allergies, but I don't eat anything with sugar.
Hopefully I'll have turkey poults by then, several hatches incubating. 1st hatch, most were infertile & the 2 eggs that survived never hatched. ;( I've kept setting turkey eggs & fertility is getting better. Don't know why 2 toms are worse than 1! They don't fight, mostly just display all day long!
Yes, I plan to bring Catskill Homesteader chicks, not sure what age though, just depends on what I have available. Do you have a # in mind?

I was thinking 4-6 poults & 2-4 homesteaders if they are the right size/age range to add to my grow out group. I want to leave with fewer chicks than I bring, but I'm not sure that's possible.![]()
Ok, I'll see how many poults hatch. Currently, I only have 9 turkey eggs due before Chickenstock (4/29 & 5/14), unless any hatch early from the other set of eggs which will be day 25 on May 19th.
Chicks shouldn't be an issue, hatches for 5/7 & I plan to set more within a day or two, so those would be a few days old. May have older ones, but depends on how many pullets I get from the chicks already hatched.
In anticipation of a busy summer I have to shrink my order/request. I can't take any homesteaders this year unless my Brabanter incubating fails. I'll only take 2 poults if you have them and I'll pay or trade you some Ameraucana.
I will be selling many chicks. I haven't quite figured it out yet, but if I succeed in hatching Brabanters then I'll be trimming the rest of the breeds. Pavlovskaya, Frisian Gulls, and Gold Laced Polish might be available, in addition to Ameraucana, Marans, and Easter Eggers (blue eggs only).
That being said, if the Brabanter hatches fail I will be reconsidering again.
