Well....today was 'fun'....we got the fencing up ok. let the captives out to test it & no-one got out - yet

. Rounding up the escapees was warming work in the pouring rain. Looked like a pair of half wits running around the yard trying to catch bunnies...finally caught 6-7, marked them and put them back in jail. That only leaves 10+ running around in the barnyard. Of course, they are now wise to the nets, so hopefully we can get a few captured with the Havaharts'....somehow I think the wild bunnies are about to get an injection of new genetic material...and the local predators will be dining well on wild rabbit

A white egg layer ( Maybe a Spitz ? ) and a dark egg layer ..( Maybe a Maran ? )

Anyone want a Spitz roo? Gold or silver. Add to the flock or eat. Need to get rid of a few Roos. Also have a NN roo, but he is not for eating per Little Girl's instructions.

Do you perhaps have a picture of the NN roo? I might be interested in taking him back as a breeder

I'm sorry to say guys .... I can't make it this year

I have a new roof going on - which is wildly stressful and then my father in law will be up that week and weekend of chickenstock to help work on the foundation of the house ... Top and Bottom so the house doesn't melt around me - and then this whole summer is fixing house year ....

IF IF IF Pyxis goes - I can send some things with her maybe - but since we barely are out of snow on the ground this year - I wasn't even able to get my Marans separated into a breeder pen yet - that is going to happen in the next 3 days.

I love the color on him! I'd be happy to take him back. Looks like he's got a pea comb so he's probably out of Leo and is likely an EE or OE too.
