Getting really close! I'll be posting to confirm probably tomorrow what I'm bringing for everyone and what I'm picking up.

Would anyone like a pair of dwarf rabbits? Not purebred as I was told, which is why I'm parting with them. They are very friendly and would make for great pets, but I wanted to breed and show, and I can't do that with mixes (could breed for pets, but couldn't show them). Dad was a castor mini rex, and the mom I have no clue but she was also a small rabbit. These guys shouldn't get bigger than five pounds.

Also, if my serama hatch goes well, I will have more available. If anyone is interested in some, please let me know. Or the rabbits. At this point I would pretty much give those rabbits away.

I don't think I have anywhere for them to live though. Could the live with silkies? Or are they too small? I've never seen one in person before.

I still want the AC culls! They are fascinating!

I will pass on the rabbits. I already have two rabbits that were not what I was told they were. I was told they were angora babies....not even close. I would have never taken them if I had known they were not angora.

I'm gonna have some larger C size ones that will be about the size of an OEGB, and I don't see why they couldn't live with the silkies

Yeah, that is exactly what happened to me with these rabbits. Was told they were purebred mini rexes, and they are very clearly not. Very cute but no good for showing.

It is quite disappointing to end up with an animal that isn't what you were told. My rabbits came from a friends mother, I believe it was ignorance on her part and not a malicious act - but setting up for and caring for the rabbits was pricey, and they aren't even friendly.

I'm asking $10 each No lavender silkies, I didn't end up keeping them. Went in a different direction with my bantams and decided on other breeds for now.

I too think it wasn't maliciousness on the part of the 'breeder' I got them from, just ignorance, which is really sad since she breeds them. I originally went to look at some Dutch she had, wasn't happy at all with them, but after driving an hour didn't want to leave empty handed and she told me she had mini rexes. I didn't know anything about the breed so I took them trusting her word. As soon as I posted pictures of them on BYC a breeder of mini rexes let me know what I had were definitely crosses and not purebred.
