It was very nice meeting you all. Thanks to the hosts and organizers, especially Chicken girl15 and Pyxis...:love:wee:love and of course big thanks to Chicken girl15's family, you guys rock!!!
:thDid I hear a rumor of a need to do this again in the Fall, so the real wheeling and dealing could get done before winter coops us all in?

:bowFolks, I'm just a rabble rouser on this topic for now - I'm in an urban neighborhood and I'm pretty sure there isn't room in my postage-stamp front yard to set up even one non-broke-down Pop-up. When I get my piece of rural paradise, I'd probably consider hosting. When we've all recovered from -this- Chickenstock, let's consider doing an Autumnal thing. For example, I know it's not as private as having a gathering at someone's farm/house, but does anyone know what it takes to get a Tractor Supply to host a "small animal swap"? Just a thought.

This was fun. I am exhausted. Let's do it again!
Safe travels home, everyone. ~Stay alive & chicken.

I'm the gentleman with the little poodle sweater dog :)
I just want to say that I had a great time meeting all of you !!! Thank you for having me !!!
What a great afternoon...
Your farm is beatiful, i've never seen such big chickens .
Ps I don't know who made that macaroni and cheese but I had all to do to keep my hands off of it and just have one piece of it ,hmmmm
Thanks again

Thank you, all, for a great day. I'm exhausted, and shockingly I still have too many chickens. I came home to 10 in the incubator. Or 11. I am unable to count anymore.

Anyone who purchased chicks from me, please keep me posted on how they do. I finally trapped the chick that escaped before I came. I have to get a real count, finish the last hatch next week, list some on Craigslist, and hopefully start searching for my sanity.

Note to self: do not incubate eggs while pregnant. The irrational mood is worse than your average Morehens Disease.

Good morning
I was wondering if there was any room for a last minute new comer. Just me and my small rescue... would love to pass by to say hello and see your chickens

It was nice meeting & talking with you, especially since you're so close & we go to the same TSC!

It was nice meeting the "newbies" to Chickenstock & seeing/chatting with everyone else who we've met before! My parents & I had a great time, and thanks to all the kids, my dogs are sleeping, allowing me to get things it away! Lol
Thank you Chickengirl15 for hosting another wonderful Chickenstock!
I'd love to have an Autumn Chickenstock. I'd be willing to host, but we have only a small level spot of front yard for tents, the rest is downhill. But we do have a wonderful large deck (part covered) , so people could hang out there too. The only issue is I'm further away than Chickengirl is for most of you, about 5 miles outside of Delhi.

We stopped at Frog Pond on the way home & I ended up with 10 more "pullet" chicks in the car, to hopefully help me with my "lack of chicks". Lol Seriously, though, it's just to help me fulfill a pullet order for friends, but they don't want fancy "rare breeds", just colorful ones!

I'll keep you posted how the AMs chicks do.
