The girls are in laying mode again which means I'm getting the incubator out again. I'm not exactly sure what girls are laying but all brown eggs are getting baked Fer 21 days. I have at least 5 breeds of rooster that could be father and even more breeds of girls so only time will show what I've done. Wish me luck, and lots of big combs.
good luck!

I have a couple young boys that are EE. Their father is a Wheaten Ameraucana and their mom is a Crested Cream Legbar. I'm willing to give them both to you and you can choose to keep your favorite for breeding and eat the other. They hatched from a broody on 9/8/16. If you don't make it to chickenstock the trip would be probably 2 hours. I'm near the Herkimer exit of the thruway.
Thanks for the offer. After a lot of talking, I think we are going to change gears from more colorful eggs to trying a few birds we can put in the freezer to see if we want to raise our own meat birds. We are thinking of dual purpose types like red rangers, delaware, or dark cornish, but aren't 100% sure yet.

It's tough to decide what direction to take our flock!

@xpchick if you only want a few chicks to "sample" the meat birds I am placing an order February and another in April if you want to get a couple to make sure you like. I am going to have Cx and red broilers or whatever Cackle calls their brand.

Thank you! I'll keep that in mind. There are just so many options I feel like I'm banging my head into the wall. lol

So it appears that I can add pekin ducklings and eggs to my list of available things because the pair from the neighbors that was always over eating my food has actually finally moved in for good. I'll be putting the other pekin girl I have with them to make a trio. So if there's any interest, let me know, I can do eggs or ducklings either straight run or sexed pairs.

try a few at a time until you find what you're looking for. I'm 2 years into this and at least 10 breeds and still experimenting. I order from now until fall so if you want only a couple at any time I can add them to my next order. Just let me know.
