Yes, just light for minimum of 15 hours a day. Start beginning of September. When my coops have good windows, I just set my timers to come on at 3am & go off at 7am. But in the coops that are more inside the barn and darker, I leave them on the whole time. Usually 3am to 6 or 7pm or so.
Yes. You should try to get the extra chickens about the same ages, or you will have to keep them separate until the younger ones are big enough to fend for themselves in case the older chickens pick on them.
these just went in the oven with the "from scratch" baked beans and pork roast for dinner. can't wait to try them..I usually make drop biscuits with lard. I love new recipes though!

Yes, integrating chickens can be a pain in the tush. Sometimes you get lucky and it's easy, but it's definitely a better job if they are all the same size. I did integrate a bunch of 5 weekers with 15-16 week old pullets last year, but the littles stayed in a dog crate for weeks before I let them out. Just a few weeks back integrated some 12 weeks with some 6 weeks - same way, dog cage in the coop. They are different sizes, but some of the older ones are smaller than the younger ones so it all worked out.
I hope the new EE roo ("Q-tip" ) isn't as large).
